“This specific one is much more to the humorous side, because I think at the moment there’s a lot of talk about how we see our own histories and how we approach them. And it’s all very serious. And it’s all very contentious, but I agree with a lot of people in that we don’t maybe what we are taught maybe what we are educated, isn’t necessarily what happened, and when you take things on face value, you might open yourself up to believe things that aren’t necessarily true. So, I straddle, in this piece I sort of straddle that line between truth and obvious not truth and the not truth elements I’ve tried to make sort of funny. And that people can obviously see, oh that’s obviously not true but then some of the bits are so near the edge that you could believe them and if you linger with that thought a bit more, it’s like “ohhhh” - I hope that’s the idea that comes across.”
